1. Self-Service Deletion
If you have an active Prelo account, you can delete your account and all associated data directly from the application:
- Log in to Prelo and open Settings > Account.
- Select "Delete Account" and confirm the action.
- This permanently removes your profile, team memberships, brand configurations, connected platform tokens, recommendations, and activity logs from our active databases.
Account deletion is irreversible. If you wish to use Prelo again later, you will need to create a new account.
2. Deletion by Email Request
You may also request data deletion by emailing us directly. This path is useful if you no longer have access to your account, if you are an authorised team member requesting removal, or if you wish to delete specific categories of data rather than the entire account.
Send your request to: info@prelomarketing.com. Please include:
- The email address associated with your Prelo account.
- A brief description of what you would like deleted (full account or specific data).
- A statement confirming that you are the data subject or are authorised to act on their behalf.
3. What We Delete
Upon a valid deletion request, we will erase or anonymise the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, job title, and company name.
- Account and authentication data: passwords (hashed), OAuth identifiers, session tokens, and login history.
- Connected marketing data: encrypted access tokens, refresh tokens, and any cached campaign, ad-set, or ad-creative metadata retrieved from connected platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify, Klaviyo, and others).
- Application-generated data: recommendations (Moves), competitor tracking lists, trend alerts, budget suggestions, and associated analytics.
- Team and invite data: brand memberships, roles, pending invitations, and team activity logs.
4. Retention and Legal Holds
In some circumstances we may retain certain data even after a deletion request:
- Legal obligations: where Hungarian or EU law requires us to keep records (for example, invoicing or tax data), we will retain only the minimum necessary information for the legally prescribed period.
- Aggregate analytics: we may retain anonymised, non-identifiable statistical data that cannot be linked back to you.
- Security logs: IP addresses and timestamps related to suspected abuse or security incidents may be retained for up to 90 days to protect the integrity of the Service.
5. Third-Party Platforms
Deleting your Prelo account or data does not delete data held directly by the advertising, commerce, or analytics platforms you connected (for example, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, Shopify, or Klaviyo). You must manage deletion requests with those platforms separately through their respective privacy settings or support channels.
Prelo only revokes and deletes the tokens and cached copies we hold; we do not control the underlying platform accounts.
6. Processing Timeline
We aim to acknowledge receipt of a deletion request within 48 hours and to complete the erasure within 30 days. If the request is complex or involves large volumes of data, we may extend the deadline by up to 60 days and will inform you of the reason and revised timeline.
